Mosquitoes grow in still or very slow-moving water. Some mosquitoes lay their eggs on the surface of the water. They lay between 100 and 400 eggs at one time. The eggs hatch in 1 or 2 days into larvae, which look like small worms. The life cycle from egg to adult can take less than 10 days if the temperature is right. The ideal temperature is between 22° and 27°C. Only female mosquitoes feed on animal or human blood. They need blood in order to produce eggs.

Typically one spray lasts 3-4 weeks, we typically spray a total of 4 times for a full season, but we are happy to spray more based on customer needs.

Yes our product is safe for pets. We use two products, one being 100% pure garlic, and an insecticide that sticks to the leaves and shrubs, creating a barrier around your property, all while protecting your pets from ticks.
We are able to cover properties with a one time spray for weddings or parties to keep your special night mosquito free!
We recommend that your have your property sprayed 3-4 times for a full season coverage from mosquitoes. Our customers are welcome to have their place sprayed once, but it will not last the entire season.
We stand behind our product and our service at Northern Mosquito Spray. Although nothing will ever be completely perfect when dealing with the outdoors, our service is 95% effective on the mosquitoes and ticks.

We use backpack sprayers that create a fine mist to stick to the foliage. After approximately an hour, the mist will be well cleared out of the air and stuck to the trees and shrubs. Be sure to allow the proper dry time of up to 8 hours before going into any deep forested areas. Once dried our product has little to no transfer.
